Awesome post - thanks for sharing this with us, Ann. Alamy is definitely a progressive agency that has been around for years and continues to grow. Best wishes

Thanks so much Ann for this information! Under your FAQ's for New Contributors, what do you mean by "Photoshop level 10 or above?" Is this a version newer than Photoshop CS1? I currently am still working with CS1 and can not upgrade as my OS is too old and I haven't the money to rectify that situation either.

Sus - Nothing to do Photoshop versions, you're fine with CS1. Ann means that you must save your jpegs at a Compression Level of 10 or above - 12 is best, ie. maximum quality.
Also google and download 'alamy sizecheck' for a great little utility (free) for alamy contributors.

Sue - so glad you asked about my mention of Photoshop 10, so I knew it wasn't clear.

Vince, thanks for addressing "PS Level 10" - made it so easy for me to then clarify it in blog.

I love Alamy. It's so much better than selling at microstock sites.

Great post Ann.
